Dear Camp is all about creating memories, building relationships, and new experiences. Our first retreat will bring all those elements together for a fun-filled weekend. Think of it as a summer camp for adult women! Invite a friend, or come on your own, and relax, while in the Driftless Region of Northeast Iowa. Friday evening we will spend getting to know each other and time around the campfire. Saturday morning, we will begin the morning with yoga while enjoying the incredible views in the bluffs. Following yoga and breakfast, we will venture out for our archery lessons. We have partnered with Steph, of Woods and Waters Project, to instruct archery for the weekend. She will bring all the equipment needed, along with a plethora of knowledge to teach all levels of shooters; from novice to the expert shooter. We will break for lunch. Saturday evening, Caroline, with Turkeyfoot Folk School, will be joining us. She will be sharing her expertise of the outdoors, with some unique nature activities. Sunday morning the group will head out for a friendly archery competition.
Schedule with final details to be posted soon!
Hi I’m Steph! I am a bird-dog-momma, traveling archery coach, hunter, angler, and all around outdoor enthusiast. And Founder of Woods and Waters Project, a company focused on empowerment and deeper connections.
I started shooting at the age of 11 and a few years ago my career took over and everything else took a backseat. I missed all the other parts of me, the things that set my soul on fire. So, I became a USA Archery Coach, I found balance, started taking care of me, and jumping back into the things I love the most and I am here to share one of those things with you !
I’m here to share the love of Archery. And show you what you are capable of. I believe archery is for everyone.
